I am a writer.

I used to think that you had to be famous to say that.

I’ve learned alot about writing in the decades since I was a teenager!

I’ve learned that to be a writer you just have to never give up.

You start with a dream. “I want to be a writer!” And the journey begins.

It’s not easy. I mean, it’s really hard! There are mammoth obstacles ~ surmountable, but mammoth.

I’m talking about the journey of becoming a real writer. I’m not talking about becoming a “successful” writer. There are many ways to do that. You can find formulae for that. I’m talking about becoming a true honest real writer. That’s hard.

And most people give up and do something else.

I tried giving up, but I couldn’t. I always came back to it, and I’m still here, still on the journey. Because writing is a never-ending, always-developing, always-expanding journey.

I have this website because I offer support to other people on the same, or a similar, writing journey. If you want to write, but are having difficulty seeing your way forward perhaps I can help.

Every artist, every person, every living thing does better with support.
